BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1969 in Kanagawa Pref., Japan, Shingo Takei was fascinated by the starry skies as a school boy. In 1997, he started shooting astrophotography in the extreme coldness of Mongolia, when he saw the total eclipse of the sun and Comet Hale-Bopp (C/1995 O1). From 1998, Takei started to publish his works via Astronomy magazines, etc.
Presently he mainly specializes in "Starryscape photography" or "Landscape photography with starry skies", focusing on his theme "Harmony between mankind and the stars". |
